Over the past decade, founder Ikeya Sade has had the privilege of being apart of several initiatives on campuses across the city of Philadelphia.  It was while serving college students that she realized her passion for inspiring this generation and equipping millennials with resources that support their holistic success. While engaging students, she has had the opportunity to witness first hand, some of the critical situations that college students face.  Consequently, she gained a burden to help address those issues.  In April 2017, BRAVE opened it’s first food pantry, supplying free food to college students in need. In Fall 2017, BRAVE introduced BRAVE Sessions, both for high school and college age students. The curriculum includes interactive workshops that cover an of array Life Skills topics such as discovering identity, achieving goals, fulfilling purpose, maintaining vision, pursuing passions, college and career prep, plus more. BRAVE House, our non-profit is currently laying the groundwork to our transitional home for youth and young adults. Scheduled to open 2021.
